Components of verbal and non-verbal communication Improving communication as a speaker; both voice and body-language Issues that effect listening, personal listening inventory, active listening skills Interpersonal feedback and non confrontational conflict resolution. Teamwork: synergy, team roles, stages of development, decision techniques. Meeting skills: planing, structure, control, documentation Group dynamics within team meetings and between conflicting teams. Objectives and benefits: The objectives are for participants to develop abilities to improve interpersonal and team communication skills. Students will be able to list, discuss and demonstrate good speaking and listening skills including use of eye-contact and active listening techniques.
